A project of the Legal Resource Centre

Charity Central is a two year project of the Legal Resource Centre funded by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). The purpose of Charity Central is to develop educational resources and support services for registered charities. Your participation in this needs assessment survey will aid in the development of these resources and services. The primary objective of this survey is to better understand what resources would assist registered charities in meeting CRA requirements in the areas of fundraising, receipting, and record keeping.

This survey should take you between 10 to 15 minutes to complete.

Methodology. Members affiliated with various registered charities are invited to participate in an online survey to share their opinions and experiences around financial regulations for charities.

Your decision to participate in this study is voluntary and you may decide at any time during the task to end your participation by exiting the browser; however, because data will be stored anonymously, you will not be able to withdraw your data upon completing of the survey.

Anonymity. The researchers will maintain the confidentiality of your responses. Survey data will be analyzed by researchers from Learning Solutions of the Faculty of Extension at the University of Alberta.

The results of this study may be presented at conferences, published in journals, reports and newsletters and used for other non-commercial activities. The researchers will present grouped (aggregated) data, and in cases where individual quotations are used, all potentially identifying information will be removed.
